In this tour I will show you how our Nation's History has played out on this small footprint of downtown Selma Alabama. Here in Selma we are known for our Voting Rights history and the events which occurred on the Edmund Pettus Bridge, but there is much more. This tour offers you a "taste" of this 12 layer Cake I call home. You will see everything from Native American, Pre-Revolutionary War, French, Enslavement, Civil War, Immigrant, Jewish, Suffragette, World War 1 & 2, Civil Rights and Voting Rights history all within this tour. Layer upon layer of history is just waiting to be revealed. We will also have an opportunity to shop as well as see what is going on in Selma now.
